John Baty is determined and competitive. If you miss him on the fells, you can catch him at North Shields Running Club. For him, planning is everything – so don’t think about challenging him for the Great North Run. Last time he entered, he was 99 out of 50,000.
Joel Marks
Joel Marks is analytical and inquisitive. He runs the numbers and understands business models, having managed Scottish Widows’ £17 billion pension fund. But, don’t count your chickens, he’s an amateur poultry farmer too!
Charlie Hoult
Charlie Hoult is entrepreneurial and commercial. He’s run a number of firms and still has an appetite for risk. However, it’s calculated risk that he admires most – which is probably why he can be found at weekends playing chess with the youngest of his four sons.
